The Anambra State Chapter of the Nigerian Youth Congress have unanimously appointed a new Chairman after the relocation of the past Chairman in person of Comrade Smart Ogochukwu Okpala who recently relocated to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja to take up a new job.
In a meeting of the Stakeholders in Awka presided over by Barr. Maxwell Ezelagu Vice President Southeast over the weekend, the Chapter resolved and subsequently appointed Comrade Chukwuma Ezenwankwo to take over as the Chairman of Anambra State.
The Stakeholders wishes the past Chairman well in his future endeavour and pray that he will succeed. The Leadership also use the opportunity to pray for the new Chairman and charged him to be more proactive.
The resolution was later sent to the National President, Blessing Akinlosotu who subsequently confirm the decision of the Leadership of Southeast and Anambra State at large. And promise to translate same to the Governing Board for approval and endorsement.
The meeting was well attended by the members of the State Executives including Ms. Chiamaka Osakwe, Deputy Chairman of the State and Local Government Coordinators.
The Leadership use this opportunity to wish the new Chairman well and charged him to do more for the Youths of Anambra State and Nigeria at large.
