Death: Nigerian Youth Congress Commiserates Inuwa Abdulkadir’s Family Over Death

 

Nigerian Youth Congress received with sadness the news of the demise of the Member of the Governing Board of NYC and the Former Minister of Youth and Sports Development Barr. Inuwa Abdulkadir, the 54-year-old who is said to have died at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, on Monday to suspected Coronavirus complications.

The President, Nigerian Youth Congress, Blessing Akinlosotu described his death at this time as a great loss not only to his family, political party, but also to the Nigerian Youths, because his words of wisdom, encouragement and support will be greatly missed.

Akinlosotu, in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Abuja today 6 July, 2020 said Late Barr. Inuwa Abdulkadir was an accomplished legal practitioner and politician whose contributions to the overall development of the country cannot be over emphasized.

The president stressed that through his commitment and hard work, he was able to nurture alongside other youths of Nigeria.

He sympathised with the youths, his political associates, and immediate family over the sad development, described that it is disheartening for someone to lose such a great leader at a critical time when his wealth of wisdom and support will be needed most.

Blessing charged the entire Abdulkadir family to uphold his legacy of hard work, diligence, tolerance, boldness, and perseverance as the vacuum created by his demise amidst the Nigerian youths will be hard to fill.

He prayed that Allah forgive his shortcomings, reward him with Aljanat Firdausi and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
