Nigerian Youth Congress NYC, a coordinating youth body in Nigeria has identified with Akinwumi Adesina over his re-election as the President, African Development Bank.
NYC said his re-election wasn’t a surprise to the Nigerian youths going by his massive achievements in his first term in office.
The President of NYC, Blessing Akinlosotu in a release made available to pressmen today 28 August 2020 in Abuja, pointed out that Adesina is an icon of sound leadership prowls that is worthy of emulation.
Similarly, he disclosed that Adesina has the background knowledge of how things work, stating that his hard work has extremely distinguished him from other counterparts.
Speaking further, he urged Nigerian youths to emulate Adesina’s footsteps if success is a priority pointing out that leadership is not a child’s play.
Akinlosotu who applauded the Nigerian Government over the support rendered to Adesina’s emergence described President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR as a father to the Nation who is focused on promoting the country and its citizens at all levels.
Admonishing Adesina, the president of the group urged him (Adesina) to keep up his good work and resilience in displaying excellence as he assumes second tenure, stressing that he should keep making Nigerians proud.
